This month, we pay tribute to some favorite Wisconsin burgers.
5/6-5/10 -- Sobleman's, The BOMB:This Milwaukee favorite features bacon, fried onions, mushrooms, bleu cheese. We'll try to do it justice on a slice.
5/13-5/17 -- Weary Traveler, Bob's (Organic) Bad Breath Burger:Just like on Willy Street, we use fresh ground Lange Farms organic Wisconsin beef with cream cheese, green goddess dressing, caramelized onions, garlic, tomatoes, and Pickapeppa Sauce.
5/20-5/24 -- Solly's Grille, Original "Cheesehead":A MKE tradition for 75 years, they made USA Today's short list of must-visit burger joints. This version features grilled mushrooms, stewed onion, raw onion, and Swiss, Cheddar, and American cheeses.
5/27-5/31 -- Vintage Brewing Co., Home Grown Burger:Beef, white cheddar from Cedar Grove Cheese, fresh apple, arugula, black pepper aioli, and an apple cider vinegar reduction. Too bad we can't serve one of their award-winning brews along with it.
Monthly Salad Special:A blend of arugula and spring mix greens tossed in a tarragon/white balsamic vinaigrette with roasted asparagus, cranberries, walnuts and gorgonzola cheese.
